Still no Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos this year. The sound is quite good but i'm sure most of you will use a soundbar or some other kind of sound system.

Black levels are ok but nothing special, especially in HDR, due to the fact the TV has a low number of dimming zones. Turning everything off helps combat this. Streaming will show blocky artifacts with picture processing on, and judder and ghosting will appear across TV viewing and gaming. Motion isn't great on this TV unless you turn most of the TV's features off.

So if you are looking for full fat HDMI 2.1 then maybe look elsewhere. None of these are HDMI 2.1, however HDMI port 4 has HDMI 2.1 like features. There is no one connect box but it has 4 HDMI ports. (It only has about 50 local dimming zones) They try to minimize the blooming with an aggressive local dimming algorithm but this has an impact on HDR, with objects that should look bright having dimmed edges taking away the shine from HDR content, especially in games. (Movie mode is the most accurate btw) In Game Mode local dimming is downgraded to keep input lag low, as a result it suffers pretty bad blooming. Switching through all the picture settings it doesn't impress. Switching it on the colours are ridiculously inaccurate and look neon. The TV itself looks quite nice but its shame that it doesn't perform as nice as it looks. Way overpriced for what it is and offers. I am preparing to purchase a 8K Samsung TV in the next few months. It actually has kept men a high note in this time of self isolation. After attending zoom meetings, training classes, family sessions, friend sessions, working, etc., watching my Samsung TV is a well deserved respite. Since I am confined to home due to COVID, this TV has become a formidable companion. The program selection is equally awesome.
The special effects are simply awesome on my Samsung TV. In many cases it appears as if the actors are right there is the room with me.
